PMJ has developed a new technology which allows the protection of fabric with Twaron fibres woven with the Denim. The result is a single layer fabric which does not need a Twaron fabric lining, allowing optimum wearability and lightness. TWARON is the best high protection innovative synthetic fibre due to its high heat resistance, cut-resistant, no melting point, low flammability. PMJ produce its products with ballistic TWARON, the same used in the production of bulletproof vests, which is difference from all other aramidic knitted, thanks to the shuttle construction with weft/warp woven. The material obtained from these innovative yarns is much more harder than many other, but of course also much more resistant. The resistance is much higher than Kevlar , cotton fabrics, knitted fabrics, linings and felt. PMJ is the only company that made abrasion resistance and cut tests on aramid fibre. The test is the same used to test clothing for motorcyclists and provides values known throughout the world (EN13595). For rider protection, Knee and Hip protection has been included. Certified protection for the Hips are made from a lightweight high-density PU with anatomic shape, equipped with Velcro for anchoring with jeans and height adjustment. (Approved protectors EN1621-1:2012). Certified Knee protectors made of lightweight and flexible PU, built-in 3D. Thin, light and breathable, the perfect choice for garments where the protection must be invisible, but with maximum efficiency. Protections with thin edges for greater comfort and have 2 articulation points to facilitate movement. Fully ventilated for better breathability. Equipped with 2-point Velcro for anchoring with jeans and height adjustment. (Approved protectors EN1621-1:2012). In addition, these Jeans have been able to achieve CE approval to PPE under EN17092-2 (AAA). Additional features of these Jeans include a Leather Belt which is included, and a casual fit with no external stitching.
